Research theme

The molecular mechanisms of innate immunity using horseshoe crabs and the fly Drosophila as animal models.

Research goal

I would like to write a paper that can be read and understood even after 1000 years, without seeking reputation and evaluation from contemporaries and do work that goes beyond The Tale of Genji.

Motto

The past is the illusion of the lazy, and the future is the hope of the foolish (a line from a poem by Horiguchi Daigaku). I would like to understand that the truth of the self is not present in the past or the future, but in the present second, and practice the teachings of Zen master Dogen.
